The Jersey Devil The Jersey Devil is a 31’ Contender Cuddy Cabin which is powered by twin four stroke Yamaha 250 horse power outboards which enable us to run to the fish in a quick, safe, and comfortable manner.

The “Devil” is fully equipped with top-of-the line electronics from Furuno, who is a global leader in the field of marine electronics. With this state of the art technology, we are able to easily locate and stay with the fish, which is a huge plus when it comes to creating the best possible scenario for a successful trip on the water.The boat has plenty of dry storage, a head, as well as plenty of iced deck boxes to keep your catch in top-quality condition. In addition, we have been recognized by leaders in the industry, such as Shimano and G.Loomis, who provide us with sponsorship and top of the line fishing equipment.  
NJ Shark Fishing The crew of Jersey Devil Charters has become very proficient at shark fishing and has placed and have won some local shark tournaments. We pride ourselves on being able to consistently catch sharks on almost every trip. New Jersey Shark fishing is some of the best on the entire east coast in that we have a great fishery for heart pumping leaping makos, hard charging thresher sharks as well as an abundance of blue sharks.   We also catch hammerhead and tiger sharks from time to time. Most of our New Jersey shark fishing is done from 50 miles offshore to as close as 5 miles from the beach. Our season for sharks can start in early June and often lasts into August we keep a close eye on water temps, turbidity and bait concentrations  we start fishing for sharks as soon as these factors come together.
NJ Offshore Fishing: For over 20 years, we have been fishing the offshore waters of NJ and will continue to develop our skills. We target all of the pelagic species that roam our waters off the Jersey coast such as bluefin tuna, yellowfin tuna, long fin tuna, bigeye tuna, mahi, wahoo  and the occasional marlin (blue and white). We will also concentrate on bottom fish that frequent the many offshore wrecks and bottom structure such as: tile fish, cod, pollack and hake. We try our best to put together a "mixed bag" of species to make the most of your offshore experience!!!!!!! Consistency is key for the crew of the Jersey Devil, whether we are fishing for tuna, sharks or deep-dropping on wrecks and other structure.
Inshore Fishing
The captain and crew are dedicated to finding the fish, so if it swims in-shore, we are prepared to catch it. 

We offer combo trips such as:

·        Blackfish/Sea Bass
·        Bluefish/Fluke
·        Striped Bass/Blackfish (fall)

In the spring and fall we target stripers. We cover all aspects of fishing for stripers from live bait and chunking to trolling. In addition, we have honed our skills over the years and have developed many methods to consistently catch big fish.
